The innovative MAGIRUS aerial rescue platform in the 30-m class has been entirely redeveloped. Its concept will meet all of today‘s practical requirements for fire brigade operations.
One of MAGIRUS‘ guiding principles is regularly to compare existing systems with actual operational conditions, to gather experience and to check, and to modify in the light of all these factors. This is what has also happened with the MAGIRUS aerial rescue platform series.
The result is a MAGIRUS aerial rescue platform which, although unchanged in its basic concept, is completely altered in the mast engineering and in detail solutions, and is designated the M 33 P. Outstanding characteristic of the new generation of aerial platforms is an optimised hydraulic system, which has a deployment time of less than 130 seconds and a maximum outreach of 26.2 m. The rescue or operational heights are 30.5 m and 32.5 m respectively.

Basis of the M 33 P is an IVECO EuroCargo 18-t chassis. The total vehicle length is less than 9 m. For chassis of over 18 tonnes, it is possible to include a fixed fire pump and an extinguishing medium tank (option).
Overall, the new MAGIRUS aerial rescue platform concept is thoroughly impressive with maximum comfort and convincing performance figures. Quality and reliability are naturally of the highest MAGIRUS standards.
